Otus
Otus is an apprentice owl who resides in Vellie, a small settlement floating in the skies. Being an owl, he is able to fly, which makes it easy for him to be able to traverse regions where humans have difficulty of reaching. He's also a mute, and cannot speak a single word, allthough he is quite good at expressing himself. When Vellie is attacked by pirates, Otus is asked to help in the battle against them. His mentor is Asio.



Asio
Asio is Otus' mentor, teaching Otus the history of the ancient owls, and how to properly behave as is expected by the owls. Asio may come across as a very strict, hightempered mentor, but this is due to the immense respect he has for the owls heritage. He is an old friend of the professor in Vellie.



The Professor
The professor lives at the top of Vellie, where his lab is built. He carries out his latest experiments, in the hopes that each of his inventions will make life easier for the people who resides in the skies.



Geddy the mechanic
Geddy is Otus's long time friend, and Vellie's mechanic. He's usually has a wimpy attitude, but will stick by Otus even in perilous danger. He's very adept at fixing mechanical devices, and also has a love for shooting at targets with his energy pistol.
