Early Life
My full name is Jo-Remi Madsen. I was born on the 28th of March, 1987 in Norway, and was brought up to become a highly imaginative young boy. In the company of my little sister and my friends, I started directing movies, starring them in key roles. I developed an interest for storytelling through art and media, and directed animated cartoon movies, as well as small tabletop games in my early years. On my 8th Birthday, my parents bought me my first computer with Tetris installed on it, and from this day on, I dreamt of creating my own games. I never gave up on my dream, and never will.
School
My interest in art, led me to choose an education within illustration and handcrafts. I've studied arts for three years, and went straight to the Norwegian IT University, to learn about Games Programming and Design. I gathered alot of experience and gained the friendship of many great fellow programmers and designers.
Starting Career
I've just finished attending the University, with a Bachlor degree in Games Programming and Design. Shortly after my graduation I joined a hobbyist team of like-minded people, and got involved in a project small project. Through this team, I met with Simon S. Andersen, and I'm currently working with DPad Studio to finish their main title, Project Owlboy, which is pretty well known in the indie gaming community.
Plans
My initial plan is to get all my games out there, and to get my mind within the gaming industry. I know I will be a good contributer to the future gaming industry, and someday I hope to promote and help to further develop the gaming industry in Norway, which I think is very needed.
